Alesha Hatton GENEMAPPERS 2026

Alesha Hatton

Alesha is a PhD student in the McRae lab for Systems Genomics at IMB. Her research utilises statistical genetics approaches to investigate the role of DNA methylation in complex trait variation. Specifically, her PhD work involves investigation into regions of shared and ancestry-specific genetic control of DNA methylation in European and East Asian populations as well as estimating blood-based genome-wide DNA methylation correlations across body fat and adiposity-related biochemical traits.
